Nine Coronavirus Infected Cases Confirmed In Bahrain.

Bahrain Health Ministry announced seven new coronavirus infected cases were confirmed in the state bringing the total number of infections to nine, including four Saudi Arabian women. Reuters reported on Tuesday.

Two Bahraini nationals and four Saudi women who came from Iran analyzed positive for the coronavirus infection upon their arrival at Bahrain International Airport. All of them are were immediately taken to a quarantine center where they will be treated.

According to the Saudi health department, “We are coordinating with the Bahrain health ministry to take care of the four infected Saudi nationals. They will remain in Bahrain until they are completely get cured”.

Bahrain airport officials are taking all appropriate and preventative measures to test all passengers arriving from coronavirus infected countries.

Bahrain has issued a notice without warning that it is blocking all arrival flights from Dubai Airport for the next two days, in a sign of the dramatic measures being taken by Gulf countries to try and halt the spread of coronavirus which originated in China recently.

The Bahrain flight ban also covers flights incoming from another UAE, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi International Airport. Airport updates have been reported by the official Bahrain News Agency on February 25th, took effect immediately.

The first infected cases of coronavirus in the Middle East was in the UAE, reported on January 28. Since then others have been announcing in most nearby countries, including Bahrain, Kuwait, Iran, Iraq, and Oman.
