EThe World Health Organization (WHO) has again lauded India’s initiative to provide free Covid vaccine to developing nations. WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Gebreyes tweeted that he was in solidarity with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s idea of - Vaccine Equality.
He said that Modi is an example to the world, and he wants other world leaders to follow his steps.
Thanks to India and Modi for the idea of -Vaccine Equality. Your willingness to share the Covid vaccine and your consideration of the Covax project has helped people in more than 60 countries worldwide. I hope others follow your example, “said the WHO chief.
