Ahead of India’s final ODI against West Indies, which will be played on Thursday in Thiruvananthapuram, skipper Virat Kohli expressed how gratified he is to visit the coastal state of India.
Praising the beauty of Kerala, Kohli urged the citizens of the country to pay a visit to the state and experience the energy of the region. He also mentioned that Kerala has recovered completely from the floods that had completely shunned the state earlier this year.
Sharing how blissful the experience has been, the skipper left behind a note at The Leela Raviz Kovalam where the Men in Blue are currently staying. In the note, Kohli states, “Being in Kerala is nothing short of bliss. I love coming here and love the energy of the whole place. The beauty of Kerala is something to be experienced and I would recommend to everyone that they come here and experience the energy of God’s Own Country. Kerala is surely back to its feet and absolutely safe to come to. Thanks to this amazing place for making me feel happy every time I am here.”
Kerala tourism sector will be hoping to benefit from this as Virat Kohli exhorted people to pay a visit to God’s Own Country. As per reports, a recently-conducted survey conducted by the state tourism department stated that most of the tourist destinations are fit to welcome tourists. The survey also stated that there has been a surge in the arrival of both international and national tourists in the past month. KSRTC started a special trip to Sabarimala from airports.
